Join Electa 3
In general, the process to join the Order of the Eastern Star is as follows:
WHO CAN JOIN
- Women who are relatives of past or present Master Masons in Good Standing of a regular Lodge of the Masonic Fraternity and have reached the age of 18. The necessary relationship is by birth, marriage, or adoption.
- Men who are Master Mason in Good Standing of a regular Lodge of the Masonic Fraternity
FOR NEW MEMBERS
- Petition the Chapter for membership. The investigation committee will provide the petition form to you.
- The investigation Committee will review and investigate your petition for membership and will meet with you to answer any questions you may have about membership.
- The Investigation Committee will bring your membership petition to the chapter to vote. If your petition is approved, you will be contacted with a schedule of initiation into the Chapter at a mutually acceptable time.
For Affiliating members
- Petition the Chapter for affiliation. The Chapter will provide the petition for affiliation form to you.
- The investigation Committee will review and investigate your petition for affiliation and will meet with you to answer any questions you may have about membership.
- The Investigation Committee will bring your affiliation petition to the chapter to vote. If your petition is approved, you will be contacted with a schedule your affiliation into the Chapter at a mutually acceptable time.
